Dearest Lord, please vindicate Loved One, and plead their cause against an ungodly nation. Deliver [thenaame] from the self-focused, deceitful, and unjust! You are Loved One‘s strength. Don’t cast them off? Why does Loved One go mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead Loved One! Bring them to Your holy hill and Your tabernacle. Remind them of who You are!
Then Loved One will go to Your altar, to the true, reliable source of their exceeding joy. Loved One will praise You, O God, with music and dancing! You truly are Loved One‘s God:
(Reminder:) “Why is Loved One‘s soul so depressed and scared? Why is it so anxious within them? It’s not over, so hope in God!”
For Loved One shall yet praise You: “The help of their countenance and their God.”
