Loved One, Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And to the things that you have read in the scripture and heard from many Christians. Commit them to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.
You, Loved One will endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No soldier focuses on their life, but on their mission and their fellow soldiers. This is what makes a good soldier, pleasing their chain of command. If anyone competes in athletics, they are not crowned unless they compete according to the rules. The hardworking farmer must be first to partake of the crops. Do it rightly with love Loved One!
Consider, Loved One, what Paul said, and may the Lord help you understand. Remember that Jesus Christ, of the seed of David, was raised from the dead according to the gospel! Because He knew it to be true, Paul suffered trouble as an evildoer, even to the point of chains; but the word of God is not chained. Paul endured all things for the sake of the elect, which includes you, Loved One, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
This is a faithful saying Loved One: If your self-centeredness died with Him, You shall victoriously live with Him. If You hangi in there now, You shall also reign with Him. If you deny Him, He also will deny you. If you are faithless, He remains faithful; for He cannot deny Himself.
Loved One, remind people before the Lord not to argue about words, to the ruin of the hearers. Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. But Loved One stay away from profane and idle babblings. They do no one any good at all. The message those babbling focus on will spread like cancer. There are many examples of people who have strayed from the truth, saying that Judgement Day is already past. They confuse many whose faith is not yet strong.
Nevertheless, God’s foundation stands, having this seal: “The Lord knows those who are His” and, “Let everyone who names the name of Christ depart from iniquity.” Remember Loved One than in any great house there are vessels of gold and silver, and also of wood and clay, some for honorable tasks and some for dishonorable ones. If anyone cleanses themself from the latter, they will be a vessel for honor, sanctified and useful for the Master, prepared for every good work.
Loved One, Flee also from youthful lusts and desires! Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Avoid foolish and ignorant disputes, knowing that they generate strife. A servant of the Lord such as yourself, Loved One, should not quarrel but be gentle to all. Be able to teach, patiently, and humbly correct those who are in opposition. God may grant them repentance, so that they may know the truth, and that they may come to their senses and escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive by him to do his will.
